Designed for elementary and middle school students, the Groovy Music series teaches the basics of sound, rhythm, pitch, and composition. City is the third program in the Groovy Music series, and with it children learn more about notation and complete more complex listening tasks while playing in a fun-filled futuristic city interface. They are also introduced to question and answer phrases and the blues scale, so that they can begin to build up more sophisticated compositions.
